On Mother's Day weekend of 2026, the QQA welcomed almost 700 guests into a total of 12 historic properties across Argenta, North Little Rock, AR. For over 60 years, the QQA has worked to preserve and celebrate Greater Little Rock’s historic places. One of our most impactful outreach and education efforts is our annual Tour of Homes.

The Pike-Fletcher-Terry House has been widely recognized as an architectural landmark since its construction in 1840. It has housed several prominent Arkansas families and served as a school and museum. The house hosted the Women’s Emergency Committee to Open Our Schools (WEC) during the aftermath of the desegregation of Little Rock Central High School in 1957. Although the house was remodeled several times, it retains much of its original Greek Revival character. The Pike-Fletcher-Terry House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 21, 1972.

Update on Pike-Fletcher-Terry mansion Good news for preservation! A resolution has been reached for the fate of the Pike-Fletcher-Terry mansion. The Quapaw Quarter Association is pleased to share this response as follows:

We are asking our members to contact the Little Rock Planning Commission and its Staff to voice their disapproval of a replat* of a lot at 1516 S Ringo Street. The developer tore down one of the Bush Family houses (Mosaic Templar Fraternal Organization fame) and now wants to subdivide the lot so that three 15-foot wide houses can be built.
