We are hiring! Join the team as our part-time Membership & Activities Coordinator.

The Quapaw Quarter Association Membership & Activities Coordinator is a half-time QQA employee (generally 20 hours per week) who works in administration in the QQA office.  The Membership & Activities Coordinator reports to the QQA Executive Director and will be evaluated annually. 

The QQA is a membership-based organization. The Membership & Activities Coordinator must be able to forge and cultivate positive relationships with our constituents to include:  members, volunteers, program attendees, donors, and board members. 

Critical skills: 

  • Attention to detail. 

  • Follows directions well. 

  • Accuracy in recording data and reporting. 

  • Respect of confidential information. 

  • Ability to staff events to include some nights, weekends and holidays. 

  • Timeliness in preparing monthly reports, i.e. membership statistics and petty cash for bookkeeper. 

  • Ability to carry and move heavy objects at times (folding tables, water, cases of wine, paper materials). 

  • Design experience preferred 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manage and update the membership database (Little Green Light). 

  • Oversee the membership renewal process, including reminders and processing renewals. 

  • Handle communications with members, donors, and sponsors — including acknowledgments, tax letters, invoicing, and thank-you correspondence. 

  • Manage QQA’s communications and marketing efforts, including: Social media content and design; Email marketing campaigns (content development, planning, and design); Editing and designing the QQA Chronicle quarterly online newsletter; Updating and maintaining the QQA website 

  • Support event planning and management, including: Ticketing and sales; Sponsor relations; Organizing logistics (locations, catering, setup, etc.); Overseeing check-in and on-site coordination; Creating event signage and materials 

  • Serve on the QQA Tour of Homes Committee. 

  • Work with the bookkeeper to reconcile event ticket sales and other reports. 

  • Assist with site management and serve as a backup for the Executive Director at the Little Rock Visitor Center as needed.
