61st Tour of Homes-Argenta Historic District

On Mother's Day weekend of 2026, the QQA welcomed almost 700 guests into a total of 12 historic properties across Argenta, North Little Rock, AR. For over 60 years, the QQA has worked to preserve and celebrate Greater Little Rock’s historic places. One of our most impactful outreach and education efforts is our annual Tour of Homes.

What is a Lustron house?

Lustron houses were prefabricated enameled steel houses developed in the post-World War II era United States. By the end of 1949 twelve Lustron houses had been shipped to Arkansas. It is known that at least three of the houses were shipped to Little Rock, and at least one each went to North Little Rock, West Helena, and Pine Bluff. It is unknown where the other six homes were shipped. QQA members were invited to tour this recently purchased property on Skyline drive in our 5H Program: History, Happy Hour, and Heavy Hors d'oeuvres!
