A message for QQA members

Dear Quapaw Quarter Association Members,

It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of an important development within our organization. After dedicating service to the Quapaw Quarter Association for the past 7 years, our Executive Director, Patricia Blick, has decided to step down from her role. Patricia's contributions to our organization have been invaluable, and she will be greatly missed.

During Patricia's tenure, we have accomplished numerous milestones, including increased membership, legislative victories, and expanded outreach. Her dedication, leadership, and passion for preserving Greater Little Rock’s historic places have been instrumental in these achievements. We are deeply thankful for her commitment to our mission and wish her the best in her future endeavors.

The Quapaw Quarter Association is fortunate to have a strong and committed Board of Directors, and we want to assure our membership that we are fully prepared to navigate this transition. The board will be meeting next week to initiate our search committee for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Executive Director. Our aim is to find an individual who shares our commitment to historic preservation, community engagement, and the continued growth of the Quapaw Quarter Association.

We will keep you informed throughout this process, and we value your input and support in helping us identify the right person to lead our organization into the future. We are confident that, with your involvement, we will continue to build on the successes achieved during Patricia's tenure and advance our mission to preserve and celebrate the unique history of greater Little Rock.

We also want to express our gratitude to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and members who work tirelessly to further our mission and to all of you who support us through your membership and advocacy. Your involvement is vital to our continued success, and we look forward to working together to carry our mission forward.
